Unattainable balance

What do I mean by unattainable balance? I search the internet to see what others might have meant when they wrote this. “They must attempt to attain an unattainable balance between their own personal satisfaction (selfishness) and the satisfaction of their social, family environment (selflessness).” First my google search came up with this, then I searched more and found this; “Is the truth relative, absolute, or some unattainable balance of both? Can it be spoken, or is it best cradled in silence as death leans?” Next time I start a rewrite perhaps when I write the phrase unattainable balance, I will not be on the internet.

As the wind gains strength, James turns off the radio and decides to ride his bicycle through the neighborhood one final time before nightfall. He unlocks his front two doors, steps into the late August day, locks the iron door and then unlocks his bicycle near by.

The house has a front entrance of two doors, the inside one is a decorative wood and glass antique door – which he often leaves open – the second door facing outside, made of six iron, vertical bars with two additional bars perpendicular through its middle – which he keeps locked for security reasons.

Traveling on a bicycle has become James’ primary mode of transportation. He lives simply.

The avenue is empty. All is quiet except a neighbor on the block past his, packing her car with final things for the evacuation. As he approaches, she mentions that her 82-year-old father refuses to leave.

The old man is set in his ways and there is no way of changing him, she says. “He took scuba lessons at Biloxi Beach and that is his final argument.” Apparently, he is well stocked and barricaded in his home with food, batteries, candles, and water; pick ax, scuba gear and a complete arsenal.

The woman starts up her car and parts with, “Good luck.”

Orange Pasta

Ingredients: 1/2 orange belle pepper
1/2 white onion, medium size
3 clove garlic
olive oil
24oz Miller High Life
slice and also dice some of the vegetables. Pour olive oil, 1/8 cup into black seasoned skillet(required). Cook Vegetables till they are a little brown somewhat crisp but not sauteed, about 14 minutes on a low heat. Then add 1 can of tomato sauce. Stir as hopefully you have been stirring the vegetables lightly as they were simmering.Fill the empty tomato can with water and add.Stir, cook on high until boiling,stir. When the sauce and water has reduced add 1/8 of the 24oz”Miller High life” to mix, stir. cook down till you have a fine creamy orange sauce. twenty minutes? Idunno I didn’t time all this, Remember these are single Cajun budget meals. We don’t time things, but the modern Cajun has measurements.
